5 projects in Turkey will create 2 million jobs

The Turkish Minister of Water said that more than two million jobs could be created by the beginning of 2021 and will see 48 Turkish states and will likely give an increase of 42 billion Turkish liras and an increase each year from among the zuwers that these investments are new in Turkey and will give about 38 billion kilowatts per hour energy, the most important of which is the project east of south Anatolia.

South-East Anatolia Project (GAP)

By the end of 2021, 610 drinking water and irrigation facilities will be built, at a cost of TRY 33.6 billion, in addition to 26 hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) that produce 7.1 billion kWh of power, provide the Turkish economy with $4.9 billion annually and create 1.27 million jobs.

Eastern Anatolia Project (DAP)

130 hydroelectric power plants will be built, at a cost of TRY 28.4 billion, with a production capacity of about 13.9 kWh per year, and is supposed to contribute more than $4.19 billion to the Turkish economy annually and create 890,000 jobs.

Egegep Development Project (EGEGEP)

With investments of UPC 28 billion, about 2,065 facilities will be built, irrigation will provide 420,000 hectares of land, raise agricultural revenues by 3.5 billion Turkish liras, and 33 hydroelectric power plants will be built, generating 1.67 billion kWh of power annually.

Konya Project (KOP)

Try To invest 16.2 billion TL, in order to build 853 facilities, and about 415 will be cultivated

Mediterranean Development Project (AKDENIZGEP)

Work will be carried out on 591,000 facilities, with an investment of 31.3 billion TURKISH liras, which will provide irrigation of 490,000 hectares of land, resulting in an increase in agricultural revenues of about 4.6 billion Turkish liras per year, and the construction of 136 hydroelectric power plants, producing 13 billion kilowatt-hours of energy annually.
