British tourists consider Turkey a safe travel destination

British tourists are enjoying summer holidays on Turkey's Aegean and Mediterranean coasts after the resumption of flights between the two countries, saying measures taken against the Coved19 epidemic make them feel safe.

Anna Hutchinson, a British national vacationing at the popular tourist resort of Didim in the western state of Aydin, said her family travelled to Turkey shortly after the lifting of travel restrictions.

Deedim is known locally as "Little England", where many Britons buy houses and live in the town permanently.

About half a million people visit the town every summer, and some spend a day there.

"We already knew this place had great holiday standards with safety measures," says Hutchinson, recommending all tourists from abroad choose this city for their holiday.

Simon Hutchinson also praised the implementation of safety and hygiene measures very well in the country, giving him and his family a sense of reassurance.

"All dishes are cooked separately. All tables and chairs are cleaned regularly. There are disinfectants everywhere, and all workers wear muzzles all the time. We were very impressed with the safety and utility procedures here."

Hundreds of British tourists have arrived in Turkey's tourist areas after the country was listed as a 60-nation country to be removed from the travel ban in July and will impose a 14-day ban on arrivals.

British citizens coming to Turkey praise the country's measures to ensure a safe and healthy stay for tourists in facilities and beaches.

Another British tourist, Kelly Briggs, said she chose Turkey as a holiday destination as one of the few safe destinations to travel through the epidemic.

"All safety measures are being taken and implemented." People in our country should not worry about travelling here, all the necessary equipment has been completed."

Tourist facilities and beaches in Turkey have begun to welcome guests after the necessary preparations in line with the safe tourism program, which has been extended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Turkish Ministry of Transport.

The programme outlines a series of measures for various sectors, including accommodation, transportation, the health status of travellers and staff facilities for those looking to spend their vacation in Turkey.

Pamela Silver, another uk tourist, noted that tourist facilities were very strict in following all hygiene procedures, saying: "We are on a safe vacation. Health standards are certainly much higher in Turkey than in other countries."
