Olympos, an  ancient city is öne of the most important port cities of its period. It took its name from Mount Olympos or now Tahtali Mountain. It means High mountain in the Greek. We don't know exactly when the city was founded , but many civilizations like Greeks , Romans and Ottomans used the city as a port thanks to the important of location of the city by the coast ,and to the river that passes through it The river was used as a passage of the ships until reaching the sea. Olymos is located 28 km near Kumuluca District in Antalya. There are many ancient temples and tombs on both sides of the river. The road leads to the amazing beach.
